New territory for Bella…

Caroline Roberts, Managing Director, first set up Bella the Prosecco Van after being made redundant from her full-time job. With a gap in the market in North Wales Bella was created!

Bella the Prosecco Van and BB's Bar

Bella the Prosecco Van has now been trading for just over 20 months and during this time she’s attended countless music events, food festivals, Christmas light switch ons and multiple private events.

Caroline is a forward-thinking business woman and Network She member  who knows that trends and markets are ever changing and to keep up with demand, she had already started to think about the ‘what next?’ question.

She always knew the time would come where two opportunities would present themselves at the same time. Bella was only one van, who could only be in one place at one time. So, when a national retail business contacted Caroline, it brought forward her plans for Bella’s Bar (BB’s).

Saturday 14th July 2018 saw the launch of BB’s at Debenhams Chester, a pop-up Prosecco counter bar placed next to the beauty hall on the ground floor. Over three weekends in July shoppers can treat themselves to a delicious glass of chilled Prosecco whilst giving their feet and arms a rest from all the shopping. Some might say “a Prosecco pit stop!”

We caught up with Caroline to see how things are going with BB’s @ Debenhams…

“I’m delighted to been given the opportunity to work alongside a national retail chain like Debenhams. We had a short turn around time from first contact to the launch date, but I knew we could do it! It’s been a fantastic opportunity to raise the profile of BB’s and Bella the Prosecco Van and I’ve loved working alongside everyone based at Debenhams Chester.

I’ve been made to feel so welcome and the support for the team and the store manager has been amazing.”

So, if you’re popping to Chester this weekend, don’t forget to pop into Debenhams and say hello to Caroline and why don’t you treat yourself to a glass of Prosecco while you’re there too!
