The Fizzy Friday 5k

Friday 8th September saw over 100 women descend on Llandudno Promenade to take part in a very different kind of a fun run. The Fizzy Friday 5k, the first event of its kind to be run in North Wales proved to be a huge success. The idea of a prosecco fuelled fun run grabbed the imagination of both serious competitive runners...

With a mutual love of running and Prosecco, Ruth Lloyd- Williams of Network She and Caroline Roberts of Bella the Prosecco Van have joined forces to create the Fizzy Friday 5K. A fun run with a difference.

Lottery funded project is the dish of the day

Having successfully secured lottery funding, Carolyn Hodrien, Centre Manager at Ty Llewelyn Community Centre wasted no time in installing a long awaited commercial kitchen at the Centre’s 1950’s Diner and employing a full time Chef in the shape of Shaun Lynch, formerly of the Queen’s Head, Glanwydden.

Led by Co - Founder Chris Roberts, the North Wales Dragons Community Football Team is gathering businesses and good causes together to ask the question “What Can We do for Each Other”

The North Wales Business Club was founded over 32 years ago. During those years the Business Club  have had some major speakers visiting North Wales including Jim O'Neill the eminent economist; the American Ambassador to the UK; the President of the Ford Motor Co; the MD of Waitrose and Sir Terry Leahy the CEO of Tescos.
