Meet Ella May, our youngest contributor to the Network She Blog

We would like to introduce you to our latest and our youngest contributor to the Network She Blog. Meet Ella May. A very busy, focused young lady who doesn’t lack modesty in writing.

I am Ella – May Hastings, I am nine years old and I live with my Mum Rhian, Dad Richard, older Sister Caitlyn and my younger Brother Ethan. I have another Sister called Chloe. I’ve got a dog called Ozzie, he is a Cockapoo, he is a sandy colour. I go to Ysgol Bodafon in Llandudno. My favourite subject is English, I like writing stories and I am good at it.

There are lots of things I like such as, My Family, Reading, Swimming, Playing Tennis, Dancing, Singing, School and Manchester City. I like lots more things!

I have joined lots of different clubs; in fact, I only have one day left spare which is a Sunday!

My clubs are MW Sports, where I do lots of different sports, Swimming club 3 times a week, my favourite stroke is the breast stroke. Art club. Powerplay, acting and dancing where I was recently in a production of Annie. I was in the junior chorus as an orphan.

Code club, which is a club that I do on a Wednesday after school. We do projects on the computer, there are three teachers there that help out. I am also in the School Choir

Jaguar 2D which is a club that most schools do. We design a car and race it. In my school there are three teams. In my team is two of my best friend Amelie and Catrin!

I play Tennis on a Saturday and in the holidays

I have two Blue Peter badges. The blue badge, which I got on the 9/12/16 for writing a poem about Blue Peter. The silver badge which I got on the 3/3/17 for drawing a picture of Blue Peter pet tortoise Shelly surfing.

I am currently trying to get the green badge which is for nature, environment and recycling

I love to read. I am currently reading the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling. I am on number two. My favourite character is Hermione Granger because she is brainy like me.

I am a Manchester City fan. I went to see my first game at the Eithiad Stadium this season. Manchester City were playing Swansea. City won 2 – 1! JJ Both goals scored by Gabriel Jesus, number 33. It was his first match and he was on the front of my very first programme.
I have had a Birthday card off the City team!

I have also been to see the Women’s Team play. They were playing Arsenal ladies. City ladies lost by 1 – 0.

When I finish school I don’t know what I want to be but I have got a few ideas. I would like to be an Artist, Author or a Teacher.

Congratulations to Ella who has just received her Green Blue Peter badge.
