Network She is delighted to present ‘The Training & Skills Emporia’. A pioneering approach to learning where you are the expert
The Training & Skills Emporia will:
- Bring together working men and women from all industries and sectors to share and exchange their knowledge, experience and best practice policies and procedures on subjects such as Flexible Working * Customer Service * Stress * Time Management * Effective Communication * Bullying & Dignity at Work * Presentation Skills
- Provide supportive, assisted workshops where delegates can demonstrate, explain, problem-solve and discuss best practice solutions relevant to their sectors or businesses or organisations through a variety of facilitated training and learning methods encouraging active participation!
- Assist businesses with joint working/ harmonisation of services by sharing effective, measurable best practice ‘soft skills’ which are carried out day to day by men and women but often go unrecognised because they are not ‘formal’ procedure.
- These topics are not exhaustive and can be tailored to industry-specific issues so that staff can be brought together to exchange best practice and create a ‘soft skills’ portfolio to assist with service delivery. And wait – there’s more!
Participants attending these workshops will not only benefit from competitive per delegate / per company rates, they will also provide services to job hunters in our community.
- A percentage of the money paid for the workshops will provide free training for men and women looking for work in our community by holding weekly workshops on issues relevant to them such as: ‘Confidence and Ability – You can do it! / Clothes for Work – Clothes Swish / Sell You! / CV Writing / Application Form Completion/ Interview Techniques / Mock Interviews / Customer Service / Mingling – The new way to Network!
You do not need to be a professional trainer, more of a volunteer with a willingness to give something back and also, it could be that the unemployed have something to share with you!
